Part of our mission as a nonprofit is to reach out to the community. Well, here’s two chances in May!
Our chapter has two upcoming events and we’d like you to participate and get involved. One is a free mixer sponsored by GM to help promote the AAJA convention in Detroit. GM is raffling off two convention registrations worth up to $300! You’ll be able to check out a new line up of vehicles and meet Bay Area AAJA chapter members.
The second event is the Pacific Rim Street Festival, Sacramento’s annual celebration along Old Sac and the downtown plaza. We’re looking for volunteers to help staff our booth.

The Sacramento and San Francisco chapters are coordinating a small mixer with GM on at the motor company’s Main Street Explosion event in Alameda. GM is raffling off 2 free convention registrations. The chapter is aiming to bring at least 5 members to the mixer.

AAJA Sacramento is a sponsor of this street festival. We need volunteers to staff our booth, where we’ll distribute information about AAJA and mingle with the crowd. You can volunteer for a morning or afternoon shift.
