Congrats to Ruyuan Li, who will be an intern at The Sacramento Bee this summer!
The internship is a partnership between AAJA Sacramento and the paper that is in its 17th year.
Ru, who is a senior studying journalism and urban studies at Boston University, is scheduled to graduate in May. A member of the AAJA New England Chapter, she is interested in multimedia and local journalism.
Ru has worked as a broadcast assistant for BU and Harvard Athletics and interned with the Olympic Channel in 2024. She had also written for nonprofit newsrooms in the Boston area, covering local community stories.
