In partnership with The Sacramento Bee, AAJA Sacramento is sponsoring a 10-week internship program for aspiring print, photo, graphics and multimedia journalists. A weekly stipend of $570 will be provided. The program begins in May or June 2011, depending on the intern’s availability.
Deadline to apply is March 18, 2011.
To qualify, an applicant must be enrolled in a college or university within the chapter’s membership area (the Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys, as far north as the Oregon border) OR have a permanent address within those boundaries. Recent graduates who completed their studies in Fall 2010 are eligible to apply. All applicants must be student members of AAJA Sacramento. (Visit aaja.org to become a member.)
